GLOBAL KNIVES
GLOBAL KNIVES have become one of our best received knife lines. We have been stocking GLOBAL since 1997, and have sold the knives to professional and home users alike. The all stainless construction in the handle as well as the blade, its incredible sharpness due to the use of a thinner knife stock and a 17 degree bevel on the edge, and its balanced, comfortable grip, have all contributed to the wide popularity of this knife line. We believe that if you buy one of these knives for your home, you will also be among those who enthusiastically tell their friends.

GLOBAL KNIVES were designed in 1985 by Komin Yomada, and are made from a Molyb-denum Vanadium stainless steel that resists rust, stains, and corrosion, and is hardened to a Rockwell hardness of 56-58 for a long lasting edge. GLOBAL KNIVES have been reviewed in both the United States and Europe, and have won numerous awards.

GLOBAL prefixes identify the way they are constructed. G and GS mean the knife is con-structed from three pieces: the blade, and two halves of the handle. The two halves of the handle are welded together and then the handle is welded to the blade, and the weld is in the blade. GF means the knife is constructed from three pieces, but unlike G and GS the knives have a blade and collar that are forged as one piece. The weld of the blade and the collar to the handle is in the handle. And GSF knives are forged from a single piece of stainless steel. There are no welds.
